- About Me
I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT), hypnotherapist, counsellor and coach.
CBT is an excellent form of therapy for those suffering with issues such as anxiety, depression, stress, anger, sleep disorders etc. 6 – 10 sessions are usually enough to resolve the problem and CBT follows a process that is easy to understand and learn for yourself so the client becomes really well equipped at dealing with any issues that arise in the future.
I originally trained as a hypnotherapist and counsellor and still work in these fields but became more fascinated with how our brain works. This lead me to learning new skills and I am a qualified Neuro Linguistic Practitioner and Coach, Time Line Therapist, Healer, Spiritual Coach and Reiki Practitioner.
I like to use all the skills that I have accumulated during the past 20 years and work with as many different “tools” from my “tool box” as the client likes so that we can develop a programme that solves any challenges the client is having, empowers them to feel and act in a way that helps them in their day to day life and builds an exciting new future for them.

I offer Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Hypnotherapy, Coaching and Counselling. I am well qualified in all these areas and have been working with clients for the last 20 years. My specialist areas are coaching and counselling women in their 40s and 50s to rediscover their passion and purpose in life. I am also a Relationship Coach and work with those having trouble with the current relationship or those who are not in a relationship but would like to be.
- How it Works
It’s not what happens to you but how you react to it that matters is the foundation for CBT. We teach clients to understand that we need to look at our underlying beliefs and change them in order to feel happier, more relaxed and remove troubling negative emotions such as anger, anxiety, depression etc. We also teach skills such as mindfulness to help overcome some of these issues and how to build self-confidence and self-worth.
